James McCorley, MIoD, Founder and CEO

James McCorley is the Founder Arbarr Electronics Ltd. 1989. The Arbarr brand is used to promote all our businesses and services in range of industry sectors. Ar Barr is Gaelic for superior and we believe by allowing all our customers direct access to senior management. We do this by keeping each of our business units small and flexible ran with a hands' on approach. We see that by doing this we reassure our customers of premium service and response times where they see themselves as our main customer and as our most important customer. With offices in Northern Ireland and in Denver USA, the company is growing and is currently exporting over 90% of their products and services. McCorley has proprietary rights to a number of patented innovative inventions. A member of Engineering (IET) and Management Institutes (Institute of Directors) in the UK Mr. McCorley has over 25 years as an Electrical Engineer holding Senior Design Engineering Management Positions in Lucas UK and Hitech Electronics. In these roles he was recognized as the national expert in Thick Film Microelectronics (CECC6300 WG21 Member) and was a member of ETCI a body which is responsible harmonising of quality standards in the electro-technology sector in Ireland. In Arbarr he has received many awards which recognise innovativeness, and directed the company to the "Investors In People" award showing its dedication to staff training and achievement of ISO 9001 2000 quality standard. McCorley is a graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Northern Ireland Polytechnic (University of Ulster) with a Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering from the same college. He has dedicated his career to the advancement of technology and innovation promoting business ventures and between United States and N Ireland. He has been selected by Invest Northern Ireland to join in a number of collaborative initiatives to promote and foster trade between Northern Ireland and the USA and has participated in a number of Trade Missions to regions throughout the US.
